On-Air with Ryan Seacrest - March 24, 2010

Miley Cyrus did a quick phone call into Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Wednesday to talk about her mentoring of the American Idol contestants.

Miley to Focus on Acting

Miley Cyrus was on The View recently where she stated that after her next album comes out, that will be the last thing she does musically for a while.

"I have a record coming out in June and that's going to be the last thing I do in music for a while. I just want to do films 'cause I like being someone else. My music is kind of like my diary. I'll always do that... I just feel like the music industry isn't as positive as I'd like it to be."

Personally I think this is a good decision. While Miley is probably a better singer than actress, she has already recorded a ton of songs. I think people might get burned out on her music if she does too much too soon.

Miley to Mentor and Perform on American Idol

Miley Cyrus will be this week's "guest-mentor" on American Idol. Miley will help the contestants as they prepare for the show. The theme for tonight's show is Billboard Number 1 Hits.

Miley will also perform her song "When I Look At You" on Wednesday’s results show. Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will also be performing on Wednesday singing "Make a Wave."
