Miley Interview for Brazilian TV show Fantastico

It's been a slow news week for Miley Cyrus news as she prepares for her upcoming tour. She did this interview for the Brazilian TV show Fantastico. Miley talked about her family, and how being a celebrity is different in 2011 from when her dad was a star in the early 1990's.

Miley will mix up Set List

In a recent Australian newspaper article from the Daily Mail, Miley Cyrus revealed that she will be doing a lot of experimenting with the set list of the songs that she and her band will be playing. It looks like Miley will have a lot of freedom of what songs she wants to sing on the upcoming tour. She wants to do a lot of covers, along with some of the more random, non-hit songs from her albums.

"I have a bunch of Nirvana songs I can do. My band is freaking out. They have to learn every song by every artist I like because they never know what song I'll throw at them. This tour might be a mess but it'll be fun."

I definitely like the idea that Miley can play any song she wants on any given night. Every concert will be a different experience from night to night. Miley doing cover songs is also something that will be cool to see at each concert. I think that Miley has a voice that is pretty versatile for singing different types of songs and music.

Miley Cyrus was on Live With Regis & Kelly this morning. Miley talked about her new movie LOL and her relationship with Liam. She told a funny story about how everyone always messes up Liam's name at Starbucks and places like that, so they just tell them that his name is Kevin. Miley then talked about her new album and the process of picking and choosing songs.

Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels - GMA - June 18, 2010

Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels were on Good Morning America this morning. Bret talked about how he's lucky to be alive and how he's enjoying life. Miley talked about how she and her fans are growing up. Miley performed Can't Be Tamed, and then Miley and Bret performed Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

Miley Cyrus David Letterman Interview - June 17, 2010

Miley was on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. She talked about how she got started in music, and how she doesn't like Twitter. Miley then talked about Liam and being home-schooled. Paul Shaffer asked Miley if she ever lip syncs and she confirmed that she never does.

BBC Radio 1 Interview - June 2, 2010

Miley Cyrus will be in London for the next few days. She stopped by BBC Radio 1 for an interview with Fearne Cotton.

Miley talked about what it's like to have a ton of fans screaming her name and how it makes it easier to perform when she has the support of her fans behind her. She then talked about school and how she has two months left before she graduates high school. Miley then talked about college more and how she is going to focus on her career instead of going to a University.

About Sex And The City 2, Miley said that she hasn't seen it yet and laughed about rumors that she could play Carrie in a prequel to the movie.

Miley Cyrus - JohnJay and Rich Interview

Miley Cyrus was on the JohnJay and Rich radio show on Wednesday. The show's hosts tried to compare Miley's song "Can't Be Tamed" with the Britney Spears song "If U Seek Amy." Miley denied that the song was influenced by Britney. Miley then talked about how she only has "5 channels" on her TV and she doesn't get the Bravo channel. She then briefly talked about Justin Bieber saying that "he's cool."

Miley Cyrus interrupted a radio interview this morning when she spotted a scorpion in her hotel room! She was in Nashville when this happened, doing a call in interview for the Cindy and Ray in the Morning show in Atlanta.

Miley Cyrus & Nicholas Sparks - Good Morning America Interview - March 29, 2010

Miley Cyrus was on Good Morning America for the second time in a matter of days. This time she was joined by The Last Song writer Nicholas Sparks as they talked about the movie and how it came to be.

In a recent Movieline interview, Miley Cyrus talked about the reasons why she decided to quit posting on Twitter:

"I was kind of, like, tired of telling everyone what I’m doing. I hate when I read things and celebrities are complaining like, ‘I have no personal life.’ I’m like, well that’s because you write everything that you’re doing.

So I was that person who was like, ‘I’m so sad. I have no real, normal life, everyone knows what I’m doing.’ And I’m like, well that’s my own fault because I’m telling everyone. And then I’d tweet, ‘I’m here,’ and I’d wonder why a thousand fans are outside the restaurant. Well, hello, I just told them. So I’m just, like, kind of thinking doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Everything I’m saying is not really going with what I’m putting on the internet."

Miley goes on to say that since she quit Twitter she has been more social, and she thinks Twitter and Facebook can be dangerous if you spend too much time on them.
