Miley and Liam Break Up
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up. Liam's rep confirmed the news to UsMagazine.com while Miley's rep had no comment. The news was originally reported by Gossip Cop.
The couple had been dating since the summer of 2009 when they met on the set of The Last Song. Just back in June there were rumors that they had broken up, which Miley denied saying, "Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy and a lot of that has to do with the amazing relationship he has with my family."
While this is surprising news, Miley and Liam had not been seen together for a while. With Miley in Michigan filming her new movie LOL they must have had a lot of time apart which probably took a toll on the relationship.

Permanent December - Tik Tok - California Gurls are the Same Song
Well maybe not exactly the same, but somewhat similar. Someone noticed that Permanent December by Miley Cyrus, Tik Tok by Ke$ha and California Gurls by Katy Perry all have similar arrangements with the chorus and other key parts of the song matching up. I know when I first heard Permanent December it reminded me of Tik Tok. I wouldn't have thought California Gurls was that similar though.

LOL a Mature Role for Miley
News about the LOL plot has surfaced, and it will apparently be a very mature role for Miley. According to Hollywood Life Miley's character Lola is quite rebellious and gets involved in some questionable activities. I don't want to reveal any spoilers so if you want the details go to Hollywood Life.
I think it's good Miley is doing a role like this. She's at a time in her career where she needs to push her acting limits and this seems like a good role to do that. If this movie does well doing an edgy part like this could help her get bigger "grown up" roles in the future.

Miley at Benihana in Troy Michigan
Miley Cyrus dined at Benihana in Troy, Michigan earlier in the week. She signed a few autographs in the parking lot also.
