Miley Cyrus has teamed up with fellow celebrities Sean Penn, Zooey Deschanel, Pras, Soleil Moon Frye, Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, Edward Norton and Eric Dane to help promote the "Help Haiti Home" campaign, in conjunction with Sean Penn's Haitian Relief charity.

This is the second time this year Miley has gone to Haiti with the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Her first trip was back in February with Sean Penn.

Miley Cyrus attended the So The World May Hear Awards Gala in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 24, 2011. The event benefits the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Miley performed at the event, and talked about what hearing means to her on the red carpet. Miley also met Marlee Matlin, one of the biggest supporters of the foundation.

Miley to perform at So The World May Hear Awards Gala

Miley Cyrus will be performing at the So The World May Hear Awards Gala on July 24th, benefiting the Starkey Hearing Foundation. The Gala recognizes those who have made a commitment to helping others and affect positive change in the world.

Miley going to Haiti with Sean Penn

Miley Cyrus is going to Haiti to do some charity work for the Starkey Hearing Foundation. The foundation posted this on their facebook page:

The SHF team is on their way to Haiti with Miley Cyrus and Sean Penn to help over 200 children hear!

Miley will likely be there for a few days before heading to New York to rehearse for her March 5th Saturday Night Live hosting appearance.

Miley Auctions Clothes for Charity

Miley Cyrus will be putting a lot of her clothes up for sale on eBay in the upcoming weeks. The proceeds will benefit the charity Get Ur Good On, a social network aimed at connecting youth with volunteer and service opportunities in and around their communities.

Here's what Miley had to say about her involvement with the charity:

"For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music, and that's something that's really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities. There's amazing charities right here in America. You don't have to travel 30 hours... you don't have to give a billion dollars. It's not about how much or how far, it's about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help. This isn't just stuff that's all over the world, it's right here, it's right next to you. It's important to get involved."

Miley visits Kentucky School - May 20, 2010

Miley Cyrus visited a school in Hazard, Kentucky last week for a Blessings in a Backpack charity event. The goal of the charity is to fill student's backpacks with food so they don't go hungry when they aren't in school.

New Hannah Montana Episode - We're All On This Date Together

A new episode of Hannah Montana called "We're All On This Date Together" will air on October 12, 2008.

Plot:

Hannah is auctioning a date with herself at a charity event and much to her disgust and disappointment, Rico seems to be the lucky winner until old-time crush Johnny Collins shows up and outbids him by a thread. However, when the auctioneer claims that it might be a good philanthropic gesture to take both bids, Miley finds she has no choice but to go on a date with both hottie Johnny and nuisance Rico. When she discovers that Emily is sick with a cold, she hatches a plan to get Rico so sick that he has to cancel on the date. Meanwhile, Roxy’s reunion is fast approaching and long-time bully and menace Clarice will be there to point out her single and lonely life so she asks Robby and Jackson to pretend and be her happy and good-looking family. Through the charade, Roxy comes to realize that she is content with her real-life and confronts Clarice about what really makes one happy.

Miley Cyrus and family have just started their very own charity entitled the Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation, in honor of her grandfather. They will be holding auctions on ebay to benefit the charity.
